Sherri Schmoekel, PCAM

Sherri has been actively involved in the DFW Chapter of CAI (Community Associations Institute) since 1985. She particpated for many years serving on various committees and was the Chairperson for the Programming Committee and the Newsletter / Magazine Committee. She has also served several times on the DFW Chapter Board. Sherri served as the DFW CAI Chapter President in 2016.
Sherri is also a member of the CAI National faculty. She teaches several different PMDP (Professional Management Development Program) classes to community managers all over the United States. In 2016 Sherri was appointed to serve on the Exam Development Committee for CAMICB (Community Association Managers International Certification Board). The Committee works to develop the questions used in the exam for CMCA certification, the industry's entry level designation and the standard for manager licensing in several states in the US.
Sherri has an extensive collection of I Love Lucy memorabilia in her office. She is also an avid Dallas Stars fan. She and her husband David have three boys; the youngest plays hockey in the Dallas Stars Metro Hockey League.
